The LA Auto Show
This past Sunday, I went to the LA Auto Show. I've never been to an auto show before, but it was pretty much what you would expect--great if you like cars! Here are some highlights:
A Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
For $1 million, you can get a Bugatti Veyron with 1001 horsepower!
A Spyker C8 Spyder. Maybe my new dream car.
Me with the car I would actually buy if I were rich: a Tesla Roadster. The world's first electric sports car. 0-60 MPH in 4 seconds, top speed of 135 MPH, and NO emissions because it's ELECTRIC!
I also look very nice in a Porsche Cayman.
A Mazda concept car.
An Aston Martin V8 Vanquish.
A Honda concept car.
A Maybach concept car.
A Saab concept car.
Hmmm...I think the Lotus fits nicely, too.

I'd say get the Lotus. It’s a convertible and you'll need the extra room when you're head swells to the size of a hot air Balloon! You may be working some big pharma job Mr. Moneybags but don't forget about us poor postdocs - I'll take the Ferrari, no need to wrap it :)
