The LA Auto Show

This past Sunday, I went to the LA Auto Show. I've never been to an auto show before, but it was pretty much what you would expect--great if you like cars! Here are some highlights:

A Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.













For $1 million, you can get a Bugatti Veyron with 1001 horsepower!











A Spyker C8 Spyder. Maybe my new dream car.










Me with the car I would actually buy if I were rich: a Tesla Roadster. The world's first electric sports car. 0-60 MPH in 4 seconds, top speed of 135 MPH, and NO emissions because it's ELECTRIC!





I also look very nice in a Porsche Cayman.

Hmmm...I think the Lotus fits nicely, too.

The Commute

Since moving to Santa Monica, I've wanted to document my drive to work in photos. It usually takes me about 50 minutes each way, but maybe these pictures will help to convey why it's not so bad.

First, my apartment.
After dealing with a little bit of traffic and a few stop lights, I make it out to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). The ocean is on the left.

Then, I turn off PCH into Malibu Canyon.


You can just barely see the ocean in between the peaks in the middle of this picture, and the road I drove up is off to the right:

That's a Ferrari, two Lotuses, and a Porsche in front of me.
